Day 55 on the Southpole!

In many ways, I still can’t quite believe it. But today we arrived at the southernmost point on Earth. It feels completely surreal. When I first saw people far out on the horizon, it almost didn’t feel real. Time has passed incredibly fast, yet also so slowly. We have been out here for a long time — and at the same time, just a moment.

We skied 28 kilometers on our final day. A long stage that took us 10 hours. When we arrived at camp, we were welcomed by a bunch of wonderful people — and a guy playing the bagpipes! Absolutely legendary.

I don’t think either of us really understood that we had actually made it. The two of us — Mum and me — had skied all this way together. It was completely indescribable, so instead

I’ll share some hard facts:

We reached the South Pole on January 7th, 2026, after 55 days of skiing every single day. In total we covered about 1,265 kilometers from Union Glacier, via Constellation Inlet, to the South Pole. And somehow, we even managed to enjoy ourselves far too much along the way.

We would like to thank our sponsors for believing in us and supporting this journey — it means more than I can possibly put into words.

And finally, thank you to our friends and family. Incredible supporters who have been there through more than five years of planning, two hip surgeries, and many moments where I felt like I was hitting my head against a wall. You are steady rocks, and you have been absolutely essential to making this expedition a success.

Now a few days at the South Pole await us — with lots of food and rest — before we turn north and kite our way back! 🪁

Thank you for all the support along the way ❤️
