Day 36 to the Southpole

What a beautiful day here in the south! The sun is shining from an almost completely blue sky, and there’s no wind at all. We skied today wearing just shell jackets and no gloves!
This could without a doubt have been the best day.
But — and there is always a “but” — during the night it snowed a few centimeters, and that made the day extremely heavy. The sleds felt glued to the ground, and we fought like the heroes we are to haul them uphill with us! All in all, we’re very pleased with our own effort, even though the big kilometers didn’t happen today.
Happy birthday to cousin Felix 🥳
