Today has been a fantastic day! A lot of wind at the start of the day, but with wind comes firmer snow — and we welcome that gladly. We’re finally back up in kilometers after a few days of heavy trudging. Around lunchtime we spotted some huuuuge crevasses far off in the distance — the only thing to look at besides snow and sky, which was pretty exciting!
We’re also celebrating 114 years since Amundsen reached the South Pole today! Should be a public holiday, if you ask me.
Happy 3rd Sunday of Advent! 🕯️🕯️🕯️
