Day 25 to the Southpole

Today has been yet another brilliant day! We had quite a bit of uphill, which meant the sastrugi returned as well. We pushed on at our usual steady pace, and after 8 hours we put up the tent.

A calm day with Anne Grete Preus’ song Når Himmelen Faller Ned stuck in my head: “We’ve heard that no two snowflakes are alike, and you can think about wonders like that for a while,” and I’ve truly been thinking about that for many days. Very fascinating!
