Day 23 to the Southpole

Today we saw people for the first time in 23 days! A Brit aiming for the speed record raced past us — we waved, he waved, and then it was all over.

We’ve also reached 83 degrees South, which means there are only 777 km to go!! The landscape here is flat and beautiful, with small sastrugi and blue skies 💙
